Seligor's Castle would like to introduce you to Diddily Dee Dot, the bringer of Dreams for all the children in the family, and that is the reason I have called it Diddily Dee Dot's Dreamland. Like the castle it will be packed full of everything that children and their families enjoy. Film shows, rhymes, singing, games. everything. xxx Diddilydeedot in Dreamland.

Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross,
To see a fine lady upon a white horse.
With rings on her fingers and bells on her toes
She will have music wherever she goes.
I'LL SING YOU A SONG
I'll sing you a song,
Though not very long,
Yet I think it as pretty as any.
Put your hand in your purse,
You'll never be worse,
And give the poor singer a penny.
HEY, DIDDLE, DIDDLE!
Hey, diddle, diddle, the cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon.
The little dog laughed to see such fun,
And the dish ran away with the spoon.
HOT- CROSS BUNS!
Hot cross buns!
Hot-cross buns!
One a penny, two a penny,
Hot-cross buns!
If you have no daughters,
Give them to youre sons,
One a penny, two a penny,
Hot-cross buns!
HANDY - PANDY
Handy-Pandy, Jack-a-dandy
Loved plum-cake and sugar-candy;
He bought some at a grocer's shop,
Then out he came, Hop, hop, hop, hop.
JACK BE NIMBLE
Jack be nimble,
Jack be quick,
Jack jump over,
The Candlestick.
If all the world were apple-pie
And all the seas wear ink;
If all the trees were bread and cheese,
What should we do for drink?
FOUR MORE LITTLE RHYMES FOR YOU TO LEARN WITH MUMMY AND DADDY, OR SISTERS AND BROTHERS.
A farmer went trotting upon his grey mare,
bumpety, bumpety, bump!
With his daughter behind him so rosy and fair,
Lumpety, lumpety, lump!
Bumpety, bumpety, bump!
The Mare broke her knees, and the farmer his crown,
Lumpety, lumpety, lump!
The mischievous raven, flew laughing away,
Bumpety, bumpety, bump!
And vowed he would get them, the same the next day,
Lumpety, lumpety, lump.

I hope everyone is being good and doing well at school.
It truly is a bit of a bug having to sit here and do nothing. I'm not really for I do have my word processor and I am carrying on writing, it's just you can't see them as yet. I hope everyone is being good and doing well at school. It seems you have only just gone back after Christmas and already it is almost half term. I am going to my youngest sons wedding on February 17th, he is getting married first in the Buddhist faith and then on the Monday he is getting married in the Kimnel Manor where he works. His new wife to be is called Zanna, she comes from Belgium and she speaks many languages. Diddily thinks it's a very good idea to learn a lot of languages as it makes life more exciting and think of all the new friends you could make all over the world. A wonderful idea. My husband Peter had to go to the Maelor Hospital today, he is taking part in the four hill Snowdon Marathon in October and he has started his running already. Unfortunately he slipped off the pavement and has sprained hid ankle very badly. If you want to send him get well wishes his email address is roadrunnerpass@hotmail.co.uk he'd like that.
Wll I am away now to my bed and to think up some more trips Percy Pointer can get up to. Take care all my little ones Diddily is hoping to be back in her castle soon.
xxx's and hugs Diddily Dee Dot.

Many Apologies, Zoomshare are changing Servers.
And if you know what that means then you know more than me.
But they were and they still haven't finished, there seems to have been quite a lot of bother one way and another. But never mind it will be gorgeous when it's finished.
And so my children I am going to have an early night and I will be up early in the morning to finish off the first chapter of Percy the Penguin, and let you see the lovely new nursery rhymes and the new photo's of Pengun.
So by for now my darlings and be good for your Mummy, Daddy OR whoever is looking after you till I see you all tomorrow. Have nice dreams, kisses and hugs Seligor or Diddily xxx

Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby, here on Seligor's Castle
I absolutely adored the tales of Brer Rabbit and my most
Joel Chandler favourite of all of them was and still is Brer Rabbit and the Tar Harris Baby. I used to get my mum or dad to read it to me over and over again, then when my sisters were old enough, I had them, read it as well, otherwise I cried until
Yes, I know I was a naughty girl, but I did so love the story. I hope you find it just as good. It mightn't be exactly the same as the one Uncle Remus wrote but it is how I remember it.

A little something from Diddily Dee Dot's Dreamland
Monty is a little mouse,
he lives in Fingles Wood
He has so many different friends,
and stores a lot of food.
He owns a very special shop
Where many spells are cast,
And if you're very,very good
He'll make you one that last's
But do beware when you go inside
That you take along some cheese
or you might come out as something else,
A rat, a bat, or a dog with fleas

Here is another of Granny Marys wonderful rhymes
Millions Of Rain-Drops
Millions of rain-drops Have fallen all around; They have danced on the house-tops, They have hidden in the ground. They were liquid-like musicians, With anything for keys, Beating tunes upon the windows, Keeping time upon the trees. |
Here to start us off is another of
